I encourage everyone to not just reblog or like this but copy and paste it into a new post, and tag the heck out of it (relevant tags of course, nothing random). Let’s do that thing the liberals hate, you know, use facts.

Thanks to young-republican-and-free for the original…

Went through and read a couple of these, and they aren’t using facts. “The president hasn’t protected the Constitution and the United States!” Have we gotten attacked? I mean, where are the facts for these? This is a bunch of propaganda garbage and opinions. It’s not even really 1001 reasons. It’s bogus.

I don’t like President Obama, and I’m a liberal. But I use facts and logic to back it up.  Occupy protests were used as an example.  However, the Occupy protests were not in favor of Obama, and in fact many of the protesters were as hostile to the Obama Admin as they were to Republicans.  They didn’t like anyone in establishment.

Obama is spending more than Bush spent, but Bush spent more than Clinton spent, who spent more than Bush spent, who spent more than Reagan spent, who spent more than Carter spent.

But who do you want me to vote for? Romney? The guy that created the model for “Obamacare,” as it is so childishly called? The guy who takes more in corporate donors than Obama? The guy who ran businesses into the ground and outsourced American jobs? The guy who wants to cut taxes so much it would blow a whole in our deficit?

Or do you think we should vote for Gary Johnson? A sensible candidate that balanced the budget of his state without cutting federal jobs? Probably not, because *facts* suck when you’re a conservative just like they suck when you’re a liberal.

That we begin with the concepts of an act and a single person acting is not to be taken as minimizing the importance of groups rather than individuals in the political process. The significance of this starting point is purely logical: the group act is construed as a pattern of individual acts. An act is always that of a single person, and when we speak of “group acts” a pattern formed by individual acts is to be understood.

Harold Dwight Lasswell and Abraham Kaplan, Power and Society: a Framework for Political Inquiry (New Haven: Yale University Press, 1950).

Political conservatives believe that individual effort is responsible for shaping collective action through society and government.

Liberals, on the other hand, believe that collective action is responsible for shaping individual effort.
